We believe prediction markets will become part of the standard toolkit for pricing
real-world risk. A market that pays out on an election, a storm or a central bank
decision produces a probability anyone can audit: more honest than a poll, faster than a
forecast, and tradeable.
Today these markets are small, fragmented and under-researched. Tooling is thin, venues
shut down and take their data with them, and most of finance treats the asset class as a
curiosity. We think that gap closes within the decade, and we intend to be one of the
firms that closes it: trading these markets, building their infrastructure, and
publishing the research that makes them legible.
The same conviction sets the method. Any subject a market prices, from weather to
geopolitics, we study to expert depth; where we reach our limit, we recruit the person
who has spent a career there.
